Terms of Service

Updated October 25, 2026 · Account-policy version 2026-09-21

The game is in open alpha. Features, balance, progression, and stored test data may change while Dungeon Ledger is being prepared for release.

1. Agreement and eligibility

Dungeon Ledger is owned and operated by Kingpin Digital LLC. These Terms are an agreement between you and Kingpin Digital LLC, referred to as "we," "us," or "our." Dungeon Ledger is the name of the game and service.

By creating or using a signed-in Dungeon Ledger account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Players must be at least 18 years old and able to enter this agreement. Do not use another person's email or account.

2. Accounts and security

  • Keep access to your email account secure and do not share sign-in codes.
  • Use accurate account information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Do not sell, lend, rent, or transfer your account or let another person use it.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.
  • We may require re-verification or temporarily restrict an account to protect players or the service.

3. Fair play and community conduct

You may not:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay without permission, manipulate transactions, or interfere with game systems.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, stalk, or expose another person's private information.
  • Post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, malicious, or rights-infringing content.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, evade sanctions, overload the service, or help others do so.
  • Use the in-game market, mail, chat, or gifting to disguise prohibited transactions or move exploited goods.

4. No real-money trading

Real-money trading is not allowed. You may not advertise, offer, arrange, buy, sell, broker, or exchange an account, guild, character, Astral Seals, Arena Tokens, virtual item, cosmetic, boost, or other game benefit for cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, goods, services, or anything else of value outside Dungeon Ledger. This rule applies even if a deal is arranged through private messages, a third-party site, or another person, and even if the deal is never completed.

Trading through game features using only permitted in-game currency and rules is allowed. Buying directly from Dungeon Ledger's official checkout, if enabled, is not player-to-player real-money trading. We do not authorize or protect off-platform deals.

5. Player content

You retain rights you hold in guild names, profile content, chat, and other material you submit. You grant Kingpin Digital LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, display, and moderate that material as needed to operate, secure, and improve the game. Public profile or community content may be shown to other players through game features. Private messages are not licensed for advertising. You must have the right to submit the material.

6. Virtual items and premium currency

Astral Seals, Arena Tokens, characters, items, cosmetics, and other game content are limited licenses for use inside Dungeon Ledger. They are not money, property, or redeemable for cash. Balance, availability, and uses may change for legitimate game, security, or legal reasons. We will not intentionally remove paid value without a valid operational, security, legal, refund, or enforcement reason.

7. Purchases, taxes, and refunds

When purchases become available, the checkout page will identify the payment provider, price, currency, taxes, and applicable refund terms. The disclosed provider may be the merchant or payment processor. Once digital content or virtual currency has been delivered, sales are final:Kingpin Digital LLC does not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind, unused purchases, game-balance changes, or a suspension or ban. This does not limit any refund, cancellation, or other remedy required by applicable law or the terms disclosed by the checkout provider. We may remove virtual goods obtained through a fraudulent payment or dispute and restrict associated accounts; exercising a lawful payment-dispute right alone is not grounds for a penalty.

8. Warnings, suspensions, and bans

We may investigate reports and relevant game activity, remove content, reverse gains from exploits or prohibited trades where feasible, and warn, limit features, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban an account. Reasons include violations of these Terms (including real-money trading), cheating, harassment, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, or material harm to players or the service. These examples are not exhaustive. We may also act when, in our reasonable judgment, conduct or circumstances threaten fair play, player safety, community trust, the security or operation of the game, or legal compliance, even if the issue is not specifically named in these Terms. We are not required to give a warning or follow a particular sequence of penalties first.

When reasonably possible, we will show the reason and duration of an account restriction and offer an appeal through the restriction screen. We may withhold details that would expose another person, compromise an investigation, or reveal security controls. An appeal is a review, not a promise that the action will be reversed. A suspension or ban may prevent access to purchased items, but it does not automatically erase your account records or take away refund or privacy rights that the law gives you. You can still use the Privacy Centerwhile signed in.

9. Beta service and changes

Dungeon Ledger may be updated, interrupted, reset, or discontinued. We will use reasonable care with persistent saves and provide notice before planned destructive beta changes when practical. Emergency maintenance, security incidents, or provider failures may occur without advance notice.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided as available and without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Kingpin Digital LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that could not reasonably have been anticipated. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Ending use and changes to these Terms

You may stop using the game and request account deletion through the Privacy Center. Material changes to these Terms will receive a new version and may require renewed agreement. Applicable law governs without taking away mandatory protections available where you live.
