Core activities

Hunt, Dungeon, and World Map

Hunt

Hunt is AFK/idle farming. You can attack or rob other players.

Purchase camp upgrades to improve hunting and reduce losses in PvP encounters while hunting.

Know the PvP rules

Hunt is the only feature with PvP that is not opt-in. The launch plan includes a PvE server without this non-opt-in PvP, while retaining opt-in PvP features such as Arena and Faction Wars.

Dungeon

Dungeon offers active solo battles.

World Map

The World Map is another tool for filtering content. Abyss bosses and faction bosses are not shown here.

Guildhall & rooms

Your guild’s management tools, in one place

Guildhall

Upgrading your Guildhall increases guild size and adventurer slots. On any Guildhall page, use Ask Asteria, the guild assistant in the bottom-left corner.

War Room

Enter active 1v1 Arena PvP, or create or join a faction through Faction Hall. The Abyss party option is available here and in Chat. Rotating faction bosses are also located here. Leveling your faction increases its abilities.

Wardrobe

Premium outfits are available for Astral Seals (AS). Use Customize Character to change Guildmasters or unlock new Guildmasters offering unique abilities.

Roster

Access adventurers, create parties, equip gear, and set battle formations. Scroll to the bottom to find all classes and their abilities. Reach S-Rank to unlock The Hidden Archive.

Contracts

Complete Contracts to obtain gold and renown. Dispatch lets you run multiple assignments at once; they are quicker than hunting.

Treasury

Upgrade your Guildhall and collect rewards here.

Forge

Craft items with materials you have farmed.

Records

Access the log.

Tavern & recruitment

Recovery, training, recruitment, and leisure

Adventurer’s Tavern

The Tavern has 5 healing slots. The Innkeeper sells potions. There are four stat-training options, and each character can gain a maximum of 20 points in each.

Hiring Board

The Hiring Board refreshes every 6 hours. You can also spend gold to refresh it.

Character frames indicate tiers. There are 7 tiers, and tier should take priority over rank because tiers are hard to improve.

Increase ranks by obtaining the required ascension items. Perform rank ascension on the Roster page under Management.

Wanted

The Wanted board contains all open-world field bosses.

Casino

The casino uses gold only. You receive 75 tokens/plays each day, but you must also spend gold. Poker is a live game for up to 6 players per table.

Currency Exchange

Trade Astral Seals for gold, or gold for Astral Seals. The exchange is 100% player-run.

Chat

Send party invitations for Abyss bosses. Use official chats for basic needs, or create community chats. View online players and their profiles, customize your own profile with a selection of anime-style art, and access your mailbox.

Faction Wars

Part I · Battlegrounds, mining, and faction bonuses

Choose your battleground

Faction Wars are battles over control of a dungeon. Each of the 8 dungeons is its own battleground.

During testing, Faction Wars last for 1 hour each day during the same daily hours. Each guild/player goes to the map and selects the dungeon whose resources they want to contest.

Your choice locks for the session

You are locked into the first area you choose for that session. You can choose to leave, which opens a confirmation pop-up.

Once you have made your choice, you cannot swap areas or zones during the same session.

Claim and hold a mining slot

Each area creates mining slots. Select an empty slot to claim it, and accumulate resources while you control it.

The number of mining slots constantly adapts to equal 50% of the total player population locked in that area or zone, adjusting as players enter and leave.

Mine alongside your faction

When fellow faction members also control mining slots in the same area or zone, each additional faction miner raises the resource-accumulation rate for all of those faction miners.

With two faction members holding slots, both receive double resources. With three, everyone receives triple. This continues up to five members and a 5× rate.

The increased rate lasts only while the slots are controlled and must adjust as control changes.

Faction Wars

Part II · Combat, queueing, and resources

Battle for control

Faction War battles are 1v1 and use a system much like Arena. There is no stamina in Faction Wars.

The battle queue

Faction Wars use a near-continuous battle queue. While you hold a mining slot, you wait to be attacked and for combat to start.

The queue distributes combat evenly across the resource-collecting players who occupy mining slots.

After a defeat

You return to the Faction War menu for that zone. From there, you have the option to queue for battle again.

After every battle

Every player receives a 1-minute cooldown after each battle, whether they win or lose.

Eight unique resources

Each of the 8 dungeons has a unique resource used to put enchantments on gear. There are 8 different enchantments in total, one unique to each dungeon, area, or zone.

Enchantments & Abyss

Gear improvements and high-rank boss rewards

Enchantments

Use Faction War mining rewards at the City Blacksmith to put enchantments on gear. This is the only place to apply these enchantments. You need the resources and gold.

Enchantments can stack 5 times on each piece of gear.

Risk increases with refinement

Success or failure is random. Success chances decrease as the enchantment level increases. A failed attempt always lowers the enchantment by one level; failed attempts also cost gold.

Consult Asteria about the limits on gold-increase and drop-rate-increase enchantments.

Abyss bosses

SS- and SSS-rank Abyss bosses have a chance to drop class change books.
